Friday is not an option.
The two up for grabs are Ruby or Boston.
1 Ruby. 7 or 8 year old Quarter Horse. Beautiful sorrel with really good conformation and good feet.. She got trained at Hocking College for a year and is a wonderful ride. Her only problem is that she is mean. Once she is caught she is fine but in the field she lets her teeth (biting) and feet (kicking) get the best of her. She is gettting better though. The more we work with her the better she gets.

2. Boston. 3 year old registered Paint/Arab. Registered name in Ladys Dun Streakin. She is
b-e-a-utiful! She has an AWESOME temperament. She is the perfect size and has great feet. She is easy to catch with very good manners. She was also kind of a wedding gift from me dear friend Deneene. THe only con against her is that she is not trained to ride and Travis thinks we dont have enough time to train her, which we are busy during the week but there are weekends and now we have a trailer so we can take her down to Beaver Creek and ride her on the trails until she's good.

So, should i get rid of Boston who is wonderful to be around but i can't ride? or Ruby, who is mean but i CAN ride?. I cant decide at all. This is like the hardest decision i've made in forever. Now, i think i might be leaning toward Ruby because we would like to start a family sometime and she wouldnt be very safe around kids. Travis thinks we can get her to quit being mean, but she's been like that since i've known her and even after she was trained for a year she's still mean in the pasture. However she is improving...slowly. So i guess it comes down to both horses need worked with. Which one is worth working with and which one should we sell to someone else to work with. I CANT DECIDE!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!
Give me your opinions PLEASE!

Okay...I think you should get rid of Ruby. Why? Well, I am glad that you asked...
She's mean, and if Elli comes up to visit, i don't want her to get eaten or kicked in the head. :) And, if you plan on having kids one day, you don't want to have a horse that is unpredictable. I don't think that her temperament is going to change - I think that since she is this old, it would have changed by now if it was going to at all.
You can train Boston. It wouldn't take THAT long would it? You have time and patience to do that...I think you would be happier.
Interesting to know.
