This morning I went riding with Deneene! Yay! Besides running over the yellow jackets nest and getting stung along with the horses, it was a lot of fun! Nobody really got hurt though, just some bee stings. Luckily I'm not allergic. The poor horses got the brunt of it. What a crazy riding weekend, an incident on both rides :-/ It happens.

After the ride everyone was over at grandma's the rest of the evening. Blake and Elli went swimming in the little pool. Super cute! He sure loves the water (just like his mommy!). The rest of the eveing was pizza, family, fun, back to moms, put Blake to bed, talk to Travis:) and now I'm here! Getting ready to go to bed. Good night.

Nothing Much

Aren't my dogs so cute! Why was I not able to type in this yesterday? Why do those things always happen to me? So I'm down here in Vienna enjoying my visit with the family. Today I went over to Lois & Garlands to ride my girl Friday with Garland (he was riding Hank) Besides Hank rolling on top of Garland twice it was good. Your a tough cookie Garland! I know that had to hurt.....and still does.....and will for a few days. After all the dramatic events of the separation anxiety crazed horse, Friday and I enjoyed a lovely, much needed, ride around Ray's property. I miss her soooo much!!! Will someone please buy me a few more acres so I can get some horses again? Think of it as a gift for Blake---does that help my chances any? After that we went over to Grandma Burdette's and stayed for quite a while. We had a yummy dinner and played with who else but the entertaining Blake-mister (how do you spell that...my-ster???) Tomorrow is a trip to Grandma and Grandpa Riddle's and then who knows what. Heres some pics and a video of my doggies, Red and Hank, attacking the water-hose as fill up their pool

I'm coming to parkersburg on wednesday so i'll have more time to post pictures then.

OK, so i have no new pictures, but i can still type. but really, does anyone really care about what I write? The exciting part that you want to see is the pictures right? Well too bad!!!! Now your gonna listen to what i have to say! Just kidding.....theres not really much to type. I'm just keeping my blog updated so i dont lose the few readers that i do have. :) So Blake is now officially all over the house and climbing on everything. He is pulling all the way up to his feet now and has his first bruise to prove it. (its from falling and hitting his cheek on the stool legs. Sorry Blake, but there will be many more bruises to come.

New news: I am picking up some more hours at work. I'm now going to be working a long Tuesday 9am-8pm (the only day i have a free babysitter available all day so i gotta take advantage of it) and also Thursday evening from 5-8pm and then 2 saturday mornings a month from 9-1. Travis is going to watch Blake thursday nights and saturday mornings. A few more hours a week will suck as far a being away from Blake, but will be good for the wallet.

July 4th 2009

Happy July 4th (belated) everybody. Travis, Blake and I went to Josh and Jackie's for a party-harty. It was a lot of fun! I played bad-minton all day. Its a good work out! My butt cheek muscles are sore! ouch.....they still hurt.
Blake is a crawling machine now! He's all over the house at full speed and with full intentions of getting into things he isnt supposed to get into, even though every single toy he owns is on the floor. He doesn't want his toys, he wants the dvd player and the phone machine and the lamps and the cords and the curtains and the heating vents andeverything else he's been scoping out for the past 8 months thinking, "Wow! When I can move around i'm going to go play with that!!!!" He has pulling up to his knees mastered and is now working on pulling up to his feet. He pulled to his feet for the 1st time on july 4th. He pulled up on his Aunt Jackie(Butler) while she was laying on the floor. **there, jackie, you made it onto my blog!:)** He also loves to pull up in his crib and play with his mobile. Here's some cute pics! (when are they not cute?)

Crawling Boy!

Well yesterday was finally the big day. Blake has been trying to crawl for quite a while now and everyday we've been saying he's definitely going to crawl today and he wouldn't. Yesterday it finally happened! Now, of course, he's traveling all over the house. He goes about 3 feet and then falls over, but he is certainly traveling by knees and hands. He's a little slow, and a little sloppy, but he's getting better each time. Here's a video of my big man shimmy/crawling to his toys this morning. It's not the best example of how well he does it but my camera died....go figure.

more beach-time!

Sunset Beach!

We're here at Sunset Beach in NC. So far the vacatino has been a lot of fun! We drove through the night on Saturday night so Blake would sleep the whole way, which he did, thankfully. The drive down actually went pretty fast. Driving overnight is the way to go. Absolutely zero traffic! The majority of the time we were the only car on the road. The busiest part was driving past pittsburgh. So far we've been just being beach bums and doing beachy things! Here's some pics.

Giggin Frogs

Friday night Travis and I had a nice fire outside by the lake after Blake was in bed. We were up until about 2:00am. It was fun. After sitting around the fire for quite a bit we decided to graba flashlight and catch some frogs! The frog Travis caught is "Ol' Bad Eye". He's always in the same spot all day and apparently all night. (and no, he's not dead, he just lives there) He only has 1 eye , hence the name. I missed a couple before I finally caught one. The first video is Travis, the second video is me. And then the pictures explain themselves. *Notice the size difference in the bullfrog i caught and the itty bitty frog travis caught :) hehehe.

Hey everyone. How was your Mothers Day? Mine was great. Travis got Blake out of bed for me and changed diaper; wow! Then we went out for a nice long drive around the back roads and walked a little. He took me to a place they call the "Tubs". Its on Beaver Creek and its just a part of the creek where there are huge flat rocks that go almost all the way across the creek, so the water flows into these little paths and its very fast moving. Its really pretty, but unfortunately i left my camera in the car, but in my defense i had no idea what the "tubs" were so i didn't know i'd need my camera. Travis should have told me to bring it. I'll get pics later, its really close to my house. Anyway, its these semi falls...but not really falls, more like chutes. Theres on rock that the water goes over/through and you can go in a hole, and it sucks you down into the rock and underwater and you go through the rock and it pops you at at the end! You could not pay me enough money to do that. What if you got stuck?????? Your dead for sure. No thanks, i'll pass on that. Travis' dad did it once back in his younger days. He's braver than me. I did take one pic of a pretty overlook we drove by. Its the picture at the end of my blog. As for the rest of the pictures, the first one Blake looks like he's talking to someone, and the second one looks like and Olan Mills picture where they make you put your hands under your chin just so and hold the pose forever.

I started work this past tuesday. Its was fun. I was really not looking forward to leaving blake for that long, but it worked out. His Grandma Barb watched him and then his daddy watched him after he got home. He did fine for the day and so did I:)Next week will be a breeze.
